Travel to Bangladesh with the APA International Learning Partner Program

Initiated in 2012 with a trip to Havana, Cuba, the APA International Learning Partner Program promotes understanding of the field of psychology and the work of psychologists in countries outside of the United States. The APA International Learning Partner Program advances this goal through international experiences in psychology with an emphasis on practice, education/training, research and policy. The 2018 program to Bangladesh is open to psychologists and graduate students of psychology who are interested in building professional collaborations with colleagues in Southeast Asia.

APA will host a trip to Dhaka, Bangladesh to attend the Asian Regional Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Conference (ARCBT) and, optionally, the International Conference of Psychology Educators (ICOPE) from Feb, 16-18, to visit organizations and institutions where psychologists work in the city, to engage in seminars with professionals in the field. Program dates are Feb. 8-18, 2018. An optional extension to Sundarbans Reserve Forest is scheduled for Feb. 18-21, 2018.
