ISPA Training Center: Application for EU Funds

School psychologists working in schools in one of the EU countries can get a grant for the ETC training courses. The maximum grant is €1500. It includes lodging, full board, seminar fee and traveling costs, not exceeding €1500.

School psychologists from Switzerland can get similar support to a certain extent from their local authorities which they have to explore on their own.

How to apply for EU funds

1. Send application form of the ISPA Training Center (ISPATC) to Bernhard Meissner and Drs. Odeth Bloemberg before deadline (see details on application form)
2. Wait for preliminary acceptance and statement of costs from the ISPA Training Center.
3. Get the application form from the Socrates (COMENIUS) agency (see list of addresses)
4. Fill in the COMENIUS application form and add the following documents which you get from the ISPA Training Center

  • the description of the course
  • the program of the course
  • the preliminary acceptance of the ISPA Training Center
  • the statement of costs

Also add...

  • a statement of costs for travel expenses.

The address of the organizing institution for filling in to the application form is:
International Psychology Association (ISPA), Elisabeth Jacobsen , Financial Director, Fagerparken 27, DK-2950 Vedbaek, Denmark, Phone: +45 3929 3700.

You might be told that the seminar you apply for is not to be found on the central COMENIUS catalogue. It is organized by ISPA Training Center with an address in Denmark. The Danish COMENIUS agency does not publish additional courses on their website.

If your application is accepted by the SOCRATES/COMENIUS agency, costs of the seminar, hotel and travel expenses are paid up to maximum of €1500 which usually is enough to cover all these costs.

Very important!

    • If someone decides not to apply for funds after having received the preliminary application from the ISPA Training Center, he/she must at once inform the ISPA Training Center.
    • In case of rejection of the EU application, the ISPA Training Center needs to know as quickly as possible.
